Kathy Ferguson, a mixed media artist living in New York City, paints colorful abstract landscapes that are whimsical, richly layered and complex. Her paintings combine geometric and organic shapes to create imaginary landscapes with unique inhabitants that explore the human narrative. She received her MFA from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Exhibited in galleries coast to coast, including the National Association of Women Artists Gallery in New York City and the Vernum Ultimum Gallery in Portland, Oregon, Kathy’s work is also held in many private and corporate collections including the Four Seasons Hotel and Spa in Houston, the Belmond Grand Hotel Europe in St. Petersburg, Russia and The Plaza Hotel in New York City.

  1. Dear Kathy, Thank you for liking my son Julian’s works at the Armory Show. He is severely autistic so I his mother and his brother and sister write for him. He has done so well and we are proud of him and love him dearly. Regards, Patricia Martin.

    • Julian has a wonderful talent and his paintings are so vibrant and cheerful…just what the world needs! I really enjoyed seeing his work at the Armory Show. Congratulations on some many of his painting finding new homes this weekend.
